Privacy policy

Last updated 7 October 2026.

This policy explains how Techmadeazy ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We aim to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the UK, the UK GDPR.

What we collect

  • Information you give us through our snapshot request form, scoping questionnaire, newsletter signup, booking page or email: your name, work email, brand, website, role, markets, business size and anything else you choose to share.
  • Booking information collected by Calendly when you schedule a call.
  • Technical information such as your browser and IP address, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.

The AI visibility self-test runs in your browser. We do not receive what you type into it. If you open a prompt in a third-party AI tool, that tool's own privacy policy applies.

How we use it

  • To respond to your request, prepare your snapshot or audit, and arrange calls
  • To send you information about our services that you asked for
  • To answer questions you send through the chat assistant or WhatsApp
  • To keep records of our business relationship

We do not sell your personal data.

Who processes it

We use Google (Forms, Sheets, Apps Script and Gmail) to receive and store requests and newsletter signups, Calendly for scheduling, Ahrefs, Google and Microsoft for website analytics, and our website host to serve this site. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Chat assistant and WhatsApp

The "Ask us" chat on this site answers common questions from a fixed set of answers inside your browser; it is not a generative AI model and it does not read anything else on your device. To help us improve those answers, the questions you type into the chat are sent to our Google Sheet together with the page you were on and the time. Please do not type sensitive personal information into the chat.

If you choose to send a question to our team, the chat opens WhatsApp (or your email app) with your question pre-filled. Nothing is sent until you press send there. Messages you send on WhatsApp are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy, and we use them only to reply to you.

Currency display

Our pricing page guesses your likely currency from your device's time zone setting, inside your browser. It does not look up your IP address or location. To show approximate prices in other currencies, your browser fetches daily exchange rates from a public rate service; no information you type is sent with that request. Your currency choice and the day's rates are kept in your browser's local storage so the page loads faster next time.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we use your name and email only to send the weekly email. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email us to be removed.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for as long as the relationship and legal record-keeping require.

Cookies and analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits, the pages people view and the sites or AI assistants that sent them, so we can see which pages are useful. We may also use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity, which set cookies. These load only if you press Accept on the analytics notice, and you can change your analytics choice at any time. We use your browser's local storage for your currency choice, cached exchange rates and your analytics choice. Embedded third-party services, such as the Google Form on our audit page, may set their own cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing Josh.f@techmadeazy.com. If you are in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
